Adding an M3904 to a Nortel Meridien

Hi,
1. Other than plugging it in, what else do i need to do to add a 3904 to our system? Is there any advantage to doing this?
My system has early software, so i cant take advantage of System Manager features, etc.

Just make sure the phone type is 3904

those sets were polarity sensitive so you may need to flip the pair if it doesn't come up

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

Actually the 3904 wasn't polarity sensitive. All the 2000 series were though.
