Hi folks, i'm relatively new to VB6 and i've come across my first hurdle and i can't seem to cross it. We have a VB program here that has a DAO connection to an access database. I have a button that lets a user browse for a particular image wich is then shown in an image control. I can't add this picture to the database when the user clicks save. i have an OLE field in a db table and would like the picture they selected to be entered in that field. I'd be very greatfull if anyone could help out.

Thanks Heaps.

It would be much simpler if you stored the path to the picture as a string data type rather than the picture itself. Then just use the path and the loadpicture function to load the picture into the control.

Images can make your database big and slow in a hurry.

Thanks and Good Luck!
