I am trying to add a addin for Access 2007, continue to receive the following message - "you do not have sufficient security permission to install this addin". I have tried the right click, run as administrator solution but do not see that as an option. Have tried from a desktop shortcut, All Programs \ Microsoft Office and from explorer. It is on my personal machine, no network or corp security issues involved. Any suggestions? Thanks very much.

I finally found the answer. I had to go into explorer, C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12 and right click on msaccess.exe. Sure seems like there should be an easier way to do it.

Maybe you can help me. I have created addins before, but have not had the problem I'm having. Do you see anything in my definition that may be causing a problem? See this thread181-1671927
