I need to add a 206 module to the following configuration for additional CO lines. I have three 012 modules, 509R7, module and VMR7 in the following order (Left-->Right)in the chassis [012,012,509,012,VM]. In what slot should I install the 206? I tried slot four and that did not work. I know I will have to reconfigure the VM ports.

Why is that? The customer has a 206E R4.1 and would like to use it if possible. What is the position order?

The 206 should go in the slot between the 509 and the VM, and yes the VM ports will change but can be reprogrammed easily enough.
If the module isnt working in that position, It could be a bad module in whick I Definatly agree with 1043...

Due to the age of "206" hardware, chances are greater that something will fail than if something current is used.

The 206 has been out of production for years and chances are the module you get will have been refurbished multiple times.

The 308EC is the current expansion module. They should be problem free for a long time. [smile]

Thanks, I will try it and see and recommend a 308.
