Adding Actionscript to CS4 movie

I have not seen flash since mx v6.0 - Trying to pickup and just downloaded trial version of flash cs4.

I cannot find where or how action script code is written and associated to the movie.

I have an fla file but no as file associated to it ... ???

Never mind ... CTRL-L and then F9 gets me there ...
