Hello I need to add time to a date.

I need to check against items under a year and under 5 years.

I tried to use the follwoing forumla

DateAdd (yy,1,{?COA Date})

Everytime I try and check the forumla it tells me the ) is missing and puts me in front of the two y's

Then I though maybe it didnt like the parameter field I was using so I tried a normal data field and I got the same error. Anyone have this issue too?

OK the issue evolves into another.

Formula looks like this.

DateAdd ("yy",1,{?COADate})

The formula editor tells me there are no errors.
When I put it into the report I get the following error message

Argument #1 of 'DateAdd' is out of range.

I have always used this function with only 1 "y".

I used this formula and for me worked with 'yyyy'

Thanks a million!
