01. I have noticed that each user has a file located in:
/var/spool/mail/
Is this file created by the function 'adduser' or is it because on a client machine I set up in Outlook an IMAP email account and this is effectively the INBOX?
02. It seems that some of the users' INBOXes are corrupt; by that I mean although they only have a few mails, the MB size of the /var/spool/mail/file is enormous.
My workaround was to mv the file to a new name after archiving in Outlook any mails then let Outlook recreate the INBOX file - this worked fine. Was my approach correct?
03. In Outlook, is it possible to move say an archived mail and make it part of the INBOX again; at the moment it resusing to allow me to append?
Best regards
