Adding a table to the Query Editor

I need to add a table in Query Editor. No problem! There is one issue that i cannot seem to get past. I do not want to show "<db>.<owner>.<table>". I just want to show <table>. I am modifying a report created by a third party and this is the way the existing table(s) are entered. I need to have it that way as I have more than one database that I am running this report against. Please help!
