I am attempting to add a second SCSI tape drive by "daisy chaining" them together.
The top one takes the cable from the computer and then with another cable I plug it into the second "new" tapedrive. I then use a terminator on the second one.
When I do this, the computer does not recognize either one. (The original one works fine by itself)
I have the original one scsi id set to 7, and the second one set to 3, what I had the original set to prior.
I am not familiar with scsi drives or there setup, I have them setup as the bottom port as input and the top port as output/terminator.
Any ideas on why this is failing is greatly appreciated.
The OS is windows2000.
Thanks
