I'm trying to add a second LTO drive to my Windows 2003 R2 server. I have both loaders hooked up to the same scsi card on different ports. Each loaded has a cable and a terminator attached. I can't get the second loader to show up in Windows.

Am I missing something? I hooked the second loader up the same as the first and it's cabled and terminated the same as the working one.

Any help would be appreciated!

Does SCSI bios in post detect it?

Nothing to do with Backup exec if you cant see it in windows.

Good point. Should both of the lto loaders be terminated? They are hooked to the same card but, different ports and I have a terminator on both.

different ports then yes they should be terminated
