I am trying to add a HP 6 Port SATA Raid controller to my Proliant ML150.
I have downloaded the manual from the WEB. The Installation instructions say to connect the I2C cable to the Controller and the internal drive cage backplane board. There does not seem to be a socket for the I2C cable on the internal drive cage backplane board. I assume I need to remove the existing SATA controller ? This seems to have a different type of connection to the internal drive cage backplane board. Thank you. Regards Paulreg.
