Adding a record to datawindow

Hi, I've got a new screen with a lot of fields on it. I have added the functionality to add a new record and use setrowfocusindicator to use a hand to point to the first field of the new record. The only problem is is that although the cursor is on the first field of the new record the window doesn't show you the new record. The user must scroll down to it. How can I get the window to scrolldown to active recor dautomatically?

I added scrolltorow method when the new record is added. The cursor is at the first field of the new record, but still have to scroll down. Any ideas? Thanks.

I tried this before the setcolumn method doesn't scroll. My code is definately being run and the scolltorow is returning 1 (succeeded). I've tried putting this scrolltorow method is other events and tried scrollnextrow but they succeed but don't appear to do anything!
