Can anyone nelp me.
I have a remote site connected via ADSL
I have an HP deskjet 2200dn at the site which is connected directly into the ADSL box.
I need to connect the users at the site to the printer, but I do not know how to add the printer to the network so they can connect. (the printer is not on the list of available network printers)
All I have is the IPAddress of the printer (a third party engineer came in and did this for some bespoke software we have)
my experience with printer issues is very close to zero therefore I do not know where to start
any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Can you find the MAC address of the jet direct board? I have just installed a 2200DN using HPs Add Printer Wizard (download from their site) - it allowed me to specify the MAC and IP address, then worked beautifully. We assigned our own IPs, as our address reservations in AD are different to the defaults.

I downloaded HP network printer wizard and did it that way, thanks for all the advice!
