I am attempting to add a printer to a Windows XP laptop. Multiple users will be logging on to this laptop. Is there a way to set the printer up once and then have it available to whoever logs onto the laptop? Oh yeah, the laptop is on a network and not physically connected to the laptop.

Thanks,
Mike

Add the printer logged in as Administrator, then select the printer properties, then click on Security tab and give the appropriate rights to all the users who have accounts on that laptop.

you said >> .... the laptop is on a network and not physically connected to the laptop.

If you ment to say ... the printer is on a network and not physically connected to the laptop.

If the printer is shared on the network it may not need to be added. I should show up in Printers and Faxes. If not run the Add printer wizard an choose the "A network printer..." option
If pro is the opposite of con, what's the opposite of Congress?
