I have a Norstar 3x8 installed with two incoming phone lines and would like to add a third incoming line to the system. Will any additional wiring need to be done for the additional line, or will it just need to be plugged in from the jack to the system? I realize the phones will have to be programmed for the third line which is not a problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It depends if the jack has the dialtone on it/or you have telco bring it to that point. Then just plug the line cord into the system & have the phone(s) programmed accordingly.

Get your telco installer to put the line on a standard jack next to your system. Then its just a matter of plugging the system to the jack with a standard rj11 phone cord and programming the system for the 3rd line.
