I am adding a new user for BB. Using BB Enterprise Server Managent-->> add new user_-->Global Addres Book.

I did that after that I installed the blackberry software on users computer, plug the bb device and after that has sincronized the contact list and calendar but if I sent and email I did not receive it on the BB device. The device has signal and I am not able to recive anything.
I am checking on BB Enterprose Server Management and the status for this new user is :

(**) Initializing. I added a second user and the same thing.
am I missing something at the momnet I created the BB users?
Waht else I should check in order to be able to get messages on the BB device.?

Thanks in advance.

Go to the Network properties under Optinos on the BlackBerry handheld and then select Register Now from the menu when you click the trackwheel.

This will initiate a request to your service provider and most likely the missing Service Book will be installed on the handheld following that.

You can also reset the device, or check to see that the Messages options do indeed indicate that Wireless reconciliation is activated.

Initializing for the user status means you need to generate new keys... remove their intellisync profile, then hook the handheld back up and generate new keys from the desktop software. There is help on the RIM website for this.

You will also need to check that in your desktop manager you go to Options | Connection settings and make sure that the the device is detected. You will see the PIN of your device.

Also make sure that in the Desktop Manager under Redirector Settings | Security it is set to Generate key automatically.

I agree with SuperCorey - Initilizing means that you did not get the encryption key.

Hopw that this helps!
