Adding a new MLX card on a Magix

We are trying to add a new card to a Merlin Magix. I have powered down the main ans expansion cabinet. Installed the card in the next slot in the exp cabinet. No phones. Got a different card, still nothing on the new phones. What am I missing? Thanks for your help.

after you install the card you need to do a'system renumber' so the system can go out a find and assign exts. to that card. the command is in system programming under the system heading.

Actually you do a "board renumber" not a system renumber
