Adding a new homepage in Cognos 8.2

Hi All,

We need to change the default homepage.
Scenario: When there are some chages going on the associated database. Then when a user log into the cognos URL. After logging, instead of default window, a new window should pop up which will state "This site in under construction."

Please help, how to achive this.

Perhaps easier:

Modify the default.htm file in ..\webcontent. Normally this htm file contains both the exact path to access Cognos and a Portal splash screen.
deactivate the <head> ... </head> part and change the Portal_Splash.gif to the message you want (as an image file, that is)
