Hey guys- What I'm trying to accomplish is add a new block of 100 DID's to our switch. We have a Definity G3 on release 13. I've added the new 4 digit ext to the Incoming Call Handling Trmt on trunk group 1 our ISDN. but I continue to get the busy signal when I call one of the numbers. This new Block has a different prefix than the others already in there- is that where I'm missing something? Please let me know what you guys think I'm missing to get these new numbers to ring in. Thanks

Oh- I spoke to our Comm vendor and they said everything is ready to go and setup right on their end. Thanks again

Do you have a recording or some entry in the System Parameters Features screen to direct any calls to intercept of some sort?
DID/Tie/ISDN/SIP Intercept Treatment: xxxx

xxxx= announcement or put in attendant.

I've just added 2500 DDI's to our switch, things to check are the number of digits your SP is sending to site e.g. 4 or 6 etc and Which circuits they have attached those DDI's to so you know where to expect delivery of the call.

If the 4 digits they are sending match up with an available extension range in your dial plan then you're good to go, if not then you need to play with the incomming call handling treatment for each trunk group that contains the circuits that the DDI's are being delivered on

If they are sending 4 digits and you have room in your dial plan to add extensions in that range there shouldn't be an issue regardless of what the preceeding digits are.

Best Regards

Craig

Okay did a list trace on both TAC's and the call isn't even hitting our ISDN or the CO. So would that tell me there is something wrong with the way the SP is sending the call over? In inc-call-handling-trmt I'm looking for 4 digits, the last 4 of the 10 digit number which is the internal extension. If the SP is sending me 7 DNIS would the call still show up on the trace log? Thanks for all the quick answers you guys are great.

Koglass- no we don't have anything that is setup to intercept and no Annoucement board.
