adding a mouse to workstation 4 micros res 3700

Hi there,

I just tried adding a mouse to my workstation 4 in the slot for a mouse. The red light comes on (on the mouse) but it doesn't move the cursor around. Is it even possible to add a mouse to use on a workstation 4 with a bad touch screen that likes to only work sometimes?

Any help would be appreciated,

I have not tried a USB mouse yet, that will be my next step.

Don't get me wrong. The year is 2018. USB mouse will work 100%

After leaving the mouse hooked up overnight, it now works. Unfortunately it can't be used with the touchscreen for times when the calibration gets all screwed up. If i right click it allows me to minimize the screen and go out micros.

Does anyone know if a mouse can be used within micros to click buttons POS buttons and then use the keyboard to type in orders etc.
