Adding a grid of dots

I'm in CorelDRAW 12. I need to overlay a grid of one-color (yellow) dots on top of a bitmap pattern of grass. I can't seem to find a 'pattern fill' option which allows the dots to be opaque, while everywhere else the grass shows through. Can someone suggest a way to handle this? Thanks,

Draw a dot and repeat it, look to the oberon site for the tiling function and you should be able to do this quickly.
