Adding a formula to a group Header - is it possible

Hi,

I am using CR 8 and i am trying to add an isnull statement to a group header, this is causing only the isnull statement to be shown and not the original items that were appearing in the group header (which i also still want to show).

Is there a formula that i can use as my group to make the table items show up as before and also a line for the isnull statement?

What is the formula that you are using? Are you using a formula and then grouping on that formula?
Something like this perhaps?

If isnull({your.field) then "No Data" else {your.field}

Yes, but every time i try that formula it crashes crystal!!

Sorry i have just tried it again with that formula in and it is running albeit very slowly, but it is not bringing out any of the isnull information!?!
