Adding a formula in the customized field

anybody knows how to add a formula to the customized field? do we have to use a script? salesforce is very easy to add a formula because it has a formula type of field, but ms crm doesn't have the formula type of field.

CRM does not have a concept of formulas in fields. The closest you can get is to use jscript behind the forms. In addition you can use post callouts to update fields when you update a record for example.
