I am just learning to work with Premier and am trying to add a movie file to the video 1 line. When I drag and drop the file, all that I see is a dotted line around where the file would be. I don't see the file in the source window either.
What could be the cause of this and how can I fix the problem? I've restarted the project several times and I still get the same result.
Other students in my class are able to get the assignment to work without any problems.
