I have a file that our distributors need to download periodically
the file in a folder on the site.
Is there a way to have the name Size and Date of the file show up
So they know how long it will take etc and see if their version is older or..

I want this to happen automatically so when the page is opened it will look at the file there and get this info..

Like so:
database.mdb 124KB 2/1/01

Hi DougP

One work around would be to insert a small pic or clip art on your download site. Hyperlink that pic to your file for download and set the alt tag on the pic to something like alt="File Size and Date". When the person viewing the file moves his or her mouse over the pic, they will see the alt tag text and when they click on the pic, they will download the file.
