adding a document to workflow

Hi all,

Is it possible to add a document to a workflow with lapi?Actually what i am doing is downloading a document of a workflow make some changes on it and upload it into livelink..Here how can my new document will know the workflow it came from?thanks..

To access a document in a workflow it has to be in the "attachments" package.You cannot get to the attachements unless you know the workid,subworkid of the workflow.Is that what you are missing ?
