MSDN gives the following:
***************** Begin ***************************
COM Libraries Tab (Add New Packages/Libraries Dialog Box)

Allows you to add COM libraries and make them available for browsing. Once you add a library, it appears under the COM Libraries node in the Select Packages/Libraries dialog box. By default, a library that has been selected has a check mark to the left of it. A COM library you add using the Select Packages/Libraries dialog box is available for browsing until you remove it by clearing the check box to the left of it.
*********************** End ************************
My problem is I can't find how to get to the "Add New Packages/Libraries Dialog Box".

Thanks in advance
Smokey

Under the Visual FoxPro System Menu ... select

Tools... Options... Controls

and your are in the area where you can add.. You can play around the options.

Remember to set them as fefault options before closing that options.

Hi Smokey,

The article you read isnt applicable to VFP. IMO, it sounds as if it applies to J++ or InterDev. The equivalent in VB is the project references. Unfortunately, VFP6 doesnt expose type libraries. VFP7 will add better support for this, AFAIK.

Like I mentioned, you can use VB to set a reference to the automation server (DLL or EXE) and use its object browser to explore the PEMs. A brief example can be found in thread184-28224. Jon Hawkins
