Hi All,
I've hunted around the net and can't get a straight answer to this.
I have an existing 2003sbs which is the DC. This machine has some major errors that keep popping up and so i would like to get rid of it. Now i have another machine i am building up at the moment but would like to know Can i add a enterprise edt 2003 server to the sbs domain as a second DC, then get close the sbs server and remove it. without any harm to the network. I had heard that SBS does not like having a second DC running on the network.
If anybody could offer any advice or point me in the direction on how to go about doing this would be most gratefull.

Regards
Max

Thanks for that Pat. I continued searching after i left here and did find something that about how to add an extra dc to a SBS domain, but thanks for the confirmation.
We work across a number of schools, (and adding more and more) and are slowly making Entprise the standard operating system across servers in the schools.
We are not using Exchange anymore on this machine as mail is hosted offsite now. Not sure if that caused the issue with this box as that was done before we took over this school.

Regards
Max
