Adding 2003 server to SBS network

Can i safely add a MS 2003 server as a member server (no DC) to our network. No DHCP-WINS-DNS.
I need this for backup and McAfee Epo purposes.
 
Yes, you can, and your existing SBS CALs will support connections to the new member server. You can even dcpromo it to a DC if you have a branch office and want a DC there.
