adding 008 MLX Boards to system 1

We currently have a legend system with R3 processor
408 GS/LS-MLX
408 GS/LS-MLX
008 MLX
1000 1DSI

I have an extra carrier and power supply.
After I add the carrier and power supply I want to add two more 008MLX boards so that I will expand my system by 16 extentions.

What do I have to do Programming wise to make this work.
Is performing a BOARD RENUMBERING procedure all that I need to do?

Yup, That will do it for you.

But first, you must POWER DOWN the 1st carrier, and once the second carrier is in an "POPULATED", power it up first, wait 5 seconds, and then power up the first carrier.

Then, you will want to print (USING WINSPM) your EXTENSION DIRECTORY (EXT DIR) to know just what extensions you now have.
