i tried a macro with copy n past btu it opened a new blank page adn so the lay out was lost i thought about using templates does anyone has any ideas
thanks Gregs

Create a directory on the server with RO access - copy the template in - Then point word (tools / options / File locations / Workgroup templates) to the location on the server. Then when you select File / New, your template can be selected and will not be overwrote.
Hope this helps !

tha is so they dont haev several doc s, they can append pages onto the existing one?
