Hi

Solaris 9 running 5.1 MP4, 1 master, several clients and 3 DLT7000 stand alone drives.

I Added a new stand alone drive, total now 3, nbu starts only 2 backups, instad of the expected 3. There must be a setting somewhere that is restricting me to 2 drives. I've hunted through master and media setting to no avail. even saw the post about mpx, all set to 1. Thanks in advance

thanks comtek - i knew there was a setting somewhere. jnbaSA was not showing any storage Units, but bpadm gave me
Label: akcux60-dlt
Storage Unit Type: Media Manager
Host Connection: akcux60
Number of Drives: 2
On Demand Only: no
Max MPX/drive: 5
Density: dlt - DLT Cartridge
Robot Type: (not robotic)
Max Fragment Size: 1048576 MB

So i changed 2 to 3 and all 3 drives kicked in.

i checked the storage units under jnbSA this morning (back to work with a jolt after a sunny weekend) and managed to see the number of drives setting - not sure what planet i was on when i posted this. Thanks again comtec17.
