add windows shared printer

hi,

how can i add a printer to my imac running OS X? the printer is installed on a PC running win XP and is shared to everyone.

Assuming you're running Panther -

Start the Print Center application, Click the add button, select Windows Printing from the top drop down, then browse the network and find your printer.

 
thanks. I have done this but when a print a load of rubish comes out.

any ideas?
