Add URL Link to Text

This seems to be a very basic question but I can't find the answer.

I have text that changes when I hover over it or click on it and what I would love to happen is change websites when I click on it. I have tried highlighting the text and adding a URL link to it through properties with no result. I have tried changing the text to a button and adding an action of getURL with no result. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I tried uploading it after making changes but it was just too large so I sent you the link to the place I bought it. Thanks for looking. I can't imagine what I could be doing wrong.

What's the text or the button you want to modify and to link to some other website?

Any of the ones on the menu (ribbon?) would help because that's what I aim to work with. Home, Contacts, etc. I really don't get the concept of moving from one area by clicking on the menu to having another area move in. I'm reading Flash Webpages for Dummies and Flash Visual but so far I'm still in over my head. Thanks for your time.
