I have about seven years of IT experience, but I know almost nothing about front page. I am trying to create a group of web pages, and I have created a "web". My first page had a theme with a nice banner. I copied and pasted that whole page to make my second page. I expected them to look the same. Instead, I got a placeholder where my banner should be. It says "add this page to the navigational structure to display a page banner here". Problem is, I don't see any control in navigation view that let's me add a page. So my questions are:

1)What is the simplest way to add a page to the navigational structure?

2)I just want to create a series of pages in my web that have the same background. Is there a better method than copy/paste?

I may have figured out the answer to my own question. With the web open, I did this:

1)flip to page view.
2)open the page.
3)flip to navigation view.
4)click add existing page.

That seems to cause Frontpage to add add my page to my web. If this technique will cause unforseen problems, let me know.

OhioSteve, this is indeed the way to do it. You can also drag and drop your pages from the navigation view and create tiered navigation if you wish.

If you can help, GREAT
If I can help, EVEN BETTER

DO the first page like you like it.. then do SAVE AS... give it a different name, change the content as you like. That will be your second page. Continue so on and so forth.
