Add Student Picture to Report

I am using Crystal 9.22.634. I have a database file with student names and the name of their picture. For Example:
John
Smith
123.jpg
The pictures are located in a different area of the server. Is there a way I can add the picture to my report?

If you wish to embed it inside the report itself, you need to move to a later version of Crystal (where an image can have a dynamic image location expression).

If you are willing to add the image to a pdf export, one of the 3rd-party Crystal report schedulers (see list at

allows you to automate the process of exporting to pdf and using a Crystal formula to control the process of adding an image to the exported pdf.

Thanks for the link. I couldn't find anything about adding an image to the exported pdf.
