Add second extension to set 1

I need to make another extension ring at a specific station. e.g. The user of extension 157 wants to be able to answer calls on extension 114. They want a specific button designated for this. How can this be accomplished? Thanks in advance.

If you go into terminal's and Sets, then Line access, look under answer DNs to add the appearance.

Thanks for the quick response. Is there a way to assign it a different button on the extension? The user said it rang in on her normal line. So she couldn't tell if it was for her or for the other extension.

In that same area you should be able to adjust it to Appr&Ring. Sounds like it is only ringing at the moment, OR that button was mislabeled.

Depends on what is ringing... if both set have line appearances and ext 114 has ringing from outside lines then yes the outside line appearance will ring and flashcon ext 157. However if you look at the display it will show something like 114>Line xxx. Indicating its an Answer DN that is ringing. Answer DN buttons appear directly above the highest intercom button.
