Add/Remove Programs Gone from Control Panel !

It's not a problem of getting an error message. It's just
totally absent from the Control Panel. I guess I've deleted
something improperly. Or, perhaps I've picked up some kind of virus, but everything else seems to be OK. And, there's
ANOTHER computer here with the same problem. This is very strange. Anybody got any suggestions other than restoring
the whole system?

Guys....I found out the answer. Thought I'd post it here for
others who might encounter the same problem. The fix was to
restore the Appwiz.cpl file which was missing from the
C:\Windows\System folder. Refer to:

which explains
how to extract it from your .CAB files.
After doing this, the Add/Remove Programs popped in immediately, although I will need to reboot.
