Add Records to Multiple Tables

I need to add records to multiple tables but keep a relationship between them. The First table has an Autonumer Field and i need to take this and then add it to the next table I update. The traffic to the site is quite erratic so I can't use the Latest Row option.

I'm currently testing a procedure I used when inserting into the database and let me see if it'll work when updating it.... I'll let you know.
