I have a form that works fine. I want to add a subtotal to the table.

I created a query. Is there a good way to allow me to add the subtotal field to my existing form?

I would rather not have to recreate the form.

Do you need to display one field from one record or data from multiple records/fields? Does the form need to allow editing of the record source?

A subform could accomplish either but other solutions might be easier.

You could place an aggregate function in the form footer.

Such as:
=Sum([field])

or

place a domain aggregate function in the detail section

Such as:
=Dsum("[field]","RecordSource","Optional Criteria")

Thanks. I put =sum{[field]) in the footer. Then I brought it into the form.
