I have a customer that has an old StarTalk A that only has 2 ports. They could use another 2 ports.

Oddly enough, I have an old StarTalk C with 8 ports. I would like to take a 2 port card out of it and place it in the StarTalk A. If I remember right, it's just a matter of powering off the StarTalk A, plugging in the new card with an existing ribbon cable and powering it back up. But since that was over a DECADE ago, I can't remember for sure.

Can anyone assist? Thanks.

That will work, but the card you put in the Startalk A must have the small daughterboard attached. You could remove the daughterboard from the existing 2-channel board and add it to the 4-channel board you take out of the Startalk C. Also be very careful not to bend any pins.
