Adding Polycom video on BRI card to replace local BRI lines. Cust has PRI T1. Have got to point that can receive calls but can't call out! Looking to verify DataMod setup and route pattern setup. PRI trunk group set as callxcall.

Here is a copy of a working Polycom video using BRI with no SPID's.

Usually receiving the calls is the hard part but since you can do that it should be a piece of cake.

Just make sure you have adequate FRL levels and the proper BCC values turned on for the route pattern. I think the Polycom's also have a ISDN prefix configuration option in their onboard software that should be verified for proper dialing properties. You can do a "list trace data (extension)" and attempt the dial out to see what happens when it tries. If you still can't get it you can do an MST capture for more detailed info.

Also ask your Lond Distance carrier if they support video calls, some POPs do not support 64k.

erock2000,

I am in the process of setting up a similar configuration. Would you be willing to share how you setup the BRI card and any other switch settings?

Thanks,
