I just want to add to a form a box which says 1 of 50 or 3 of 50 like the record selector box at the bottom of the forms. I can manage 1 of 50 by just typing = 1 of and then count the id. How can I get it to change to 2 of when I move to the 2nd record?

In the form's On_Current event, you need to add the code to update the text box.

-V

A starting point:
Me.Recordset.AbsolutePosition + 1 & " of " & Me.Recordset.RecordCount

Hope This Helps, PH.
