I just noticed that when I pull up the Add or Remove Software under XP Home the dates are incorrect. Ok, what I'm talking about is to the right side where it shows the size of the program and the last time the program was used. I happened to use a particular program earlier in the day, yet when I pulled up the AorR it showed that it had not been used since 2005! It also shows programs that I did not use today (and are not in the start up) as being used today! Is this a major problem? Why is it not generating correct information? This is not a big deal really unless of course it might cause problems when trying to remove something. Thanks in advance!

Not a major problem - I see this all the time - as it doesn't cause problems, haven't investigated (ie, have no idea what criteria it uses to decide on use or not - I'm sure someone here will have though!)

IMHO it's a minor 'buglet' that no one at microsoft got around to fixing. Neither the 'last used' nor the frequency of use is correct. It affects nothing and just confuses the issue! Ignore it. I have a feeling that that date is possibly the installation date? I have never bothered to verify this though.

No I haven't worried about it and the program works. I was actually just curious as I was in the process of showing someone how to remove a program and noticed the date. Thanks for the info!
