Hiya all,

I need some help with something. In access 2000 (can use XP if I have to) I want to have a selection box (a combo box I think!!) from which an entry is chosen. But I want to also allow the entry of a new item on this box - one that isn't in the list at the moment but will be from now on as it is added.

I'm sure I've done this before but just cant think what I need to do.

Help me guys - please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess I'm being really stupid today as I can't make the reply work at all. It brings up a SQL error.

I do need some help with this - but I also want to go to the pub and have a beer or 3 (it's Friday night here in England and we all go to the pub on a Friday!!!).

I still need some help guys

Thanks in advance

Can you post the code you entered that raised the error. Hopefully I can give you the help you need.

We go to the pub here in Scotland too! :)

my e-Mail is david@ntfs.net

More importantly, I'm glad to hear that you use the pub in Scotland regularly - and I hope that (some) beer is still sold by the pint, rather than that silly french liter thing!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm (part) from the Donald clan and my g/f is from the Nash clan - so we have (some) Scots blood in us and they do make better Whiskey thean the Irish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
