Hi guys,

I´m new with Meridian 1, and need to add a number to a defined SCL. I did a research on Internet and in this forum (that I must say is great!), and found wath should I do.

But on LD 18 when I´m trying to input the LSNO it tells me that this SCL number doesn´t exist.

LD 18
REQ CHG
TYPE SCL
LSNO 10
SCH3075

ERR SCH3075

A list number of this type does not exist

I also did a LD 20 to print the LSNO information and see what STOR could I use for the new number:

LD 20 TYPE SCL
LSNO 10
SIZE 80 (default)
RNGE

and it displays the information:

SCNO 0010
SSC
NCOS 04
DNSZ 16
STOR 0 xxxxxxxxxx
STOR 1 xxxxxxxxxx
STOR 2 xxxxxxxxxx
.
.
.
STOR n xxxxxxxxxx

This response tells me that it does exist the LSNO 10, but on LD 18 it tells me that doesn´t exist....

What I´m doing wrong??

Thanks in advance for your help

At TYPE use SSC in place of SCL. The list you are trying to update is a system speed call list not a personal speed call list. Just below the SCNO 10 you will see SSC, System Speed Call.

Thanks for that tip mluckie1, but I did try this before and apparently (by the prompt) the SSC 10 will be created as a new one:

>ld 20
PT0000
MARP NOT ACTIVATED

REQ: prt
TYPE: scl
LSNO 10
SIZE 80
RNGE

SCNO 0010
SSC

NCOS 04

DNSZ 16
STOR 00 92621779
STOR 01 902129559929
STOR 02 902129559940

.
STOR 70 902129559891
STOR 71 902129559882
STOR 72 902129559829
STOR 73
STOR 74
STOR 75

Or maybe I´m wrong and have to say YES to WRT, but I don´t know if this will erase the SSC/SCL 10.

Thanks again fro your help.....

The prompt is asking if you want to write your input to the Speed Call List. This would show a change if you wanted to alter the size of the existing list.

If you are not comfortable this will work, print out the old list, forge ahead and the print it again after the changes. That way, you at least have a hard copy so you can do it again.

Don't worry, it will all work out in the end.

Hope this helps,

Scott M.

Thanks Scott, that was the next step..... YES to the WRT prompt....

That was my "fear to the unknown on a live environment"...

Thanks again for your your help

if it helps, i use my spare phone for a test lab, making changes for the 1st time on it and testing before i try it on a working set. learned the hard way, incressed a system speed dial from 100 to 1000 stations only to find out it deleted the entries
