I don't know which version of crystal reports you have, but for 8.5 I can say that this is no problem at all. Simply use the field explorer (click on the corresponding icon or use the enry from the 'insert' menu) to navigate through the available fields provided by your datasource(s) and drag them onto your report.

In fact using the report expert in version 9 of crystal is sometimes not even an option. After the initial use of the report expert when first designing a report in version 9 you cannot invoke it again. You must use the method crystalvictom outlined. This method works from version 9 all the way back to v5 at least, perhaps farther.
