Add Network Place launches choose program dialog 1

An error which I could not solve:
Using Win 2003 SP2 I went to My Network Places>Add Network Place, and instead of the usual http/ftp/..-dialog the Choose the program you want to use to open the program-dialog window popped up. Selecting any program, which is of course pointless, caused an error.
Any solution known?

try to indicate:

rundll32 netplwiz.dll,AddNetPlaceRunDll

this should be what normally happens when you click there

Very well. I tried this and it works perfectly. Thanks for this work-around.
However, I still need to understand why clicking Add Network Place in Windows Explorer does not execute this functionality? Like it used to...
