Add MX record to lmhost file?

Is it possible to add an MX record to my lmhost file. I'm using windows xp.

No, your LMHOST file is for NetBIOS name resolution. You also can't add MX records to your HOSTS file. MX records are special DNS records that only exist on DNS servers.
