Add minutes to date / time 1

I am trying to add two field together one has a date/time and the other is minutes. If I add them straight together it adds to the date. How do I get it to add to the minutes.

dateadd("n",30,{YourDateTimeField})

The above will add 30 minutes to the datetime field. Use a -30 to subtract 30 minutes.
